Since moving from Colorado Springs to Glen Vista in 2020, I’ve been grateful to call this beautiful community home. I’ve been a licensed real estate broker since 1986, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know so many of you through my work here in the neighborhood. My background includes working for a new home builder in Colorado Springs—most of which were in HOA communities—and serving on the Meridian Ranch Design Review Council, where I helped manage the covenant review process.

Since joining Glen Vista, I’ve been an active member of our POA Wildfire Committee, focusing on sharing resources and information to keep our community safe. I’d like to bring my experience from both the Meridian Ranch HOA and the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Project Wildfire to the GVPOA Board in a way that supports property values, protects our natural beauty, and keeps Glen Vista a place we’re all proud to live.

Karen is a retired EMS professional with a lifelong passion for helping others. She and her husband of 11 years have fostered children and adopted a medically complex child, whose memory continues to inspire her service. A recent GVPOA resident, Karen enjoys crafting and brings empathy, creativity, and dedication to the board.

Dr. T.J. Cole, Ph.D., J.D., is a distinguished legal scholar, educator, and civic leader whose multifaceted career spans judicial service, academic leadership, and community development. Serving as a Municipal Court Judge since 2010 and previously as a District Court Magistrate and Deputy State Public Defender, Dr. Cole has demonstrated unwavering commitment to justice. He is the founder and chairman of Zoubida Cole College and Boulder Prep High School, and also served as principal and board member of Justice High School. His academic contributions include professorships at the National Judicial College, Metropolitan State College, and international engagements with the U.S. State Department. Beyond the courtroom and classroom, Dr. Cole founded the Colorado Football Conference and leads MVP Sports Management and JTL Group as CEO. A certified mediator and reserve police officer, he has also pioneered truancy intervention programs, reflecting his dedication to youth empowerment and systemic reform.

Born and raised in Australia, Julia is now a U.S. citizen and has called Golden, Colorado home since 2006. Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Deakin University, Australia, and has over 20 years of expertise in digital marketing, with a focus on website and email communications. In April 2025, she stepped into land ownership with the purchase of her Glen Vista property.
